From Homeless..to Handsome!

I have been hesitating to take our little pooch Mojo to the groomer....The last time he went in for a hair cut he was booted out after about 30 minutes for bad behavior. Embarrassing? Yes. So needless to say he has been looking rather homeless. I got my nerves up and took him to the groomer a couple of days ago. I warned him that he is a little...mischievous and ran out of there as fast as possible.. I waited anxiously for a phone call saying they couldn't groom him. To my surprise they finished his haircut and he did a great job! OK...so they said they recommend him being  on a sedative next time..but hey.. I think he turned out looking pretty handsome!

FROM HOMELESS.....

TO HANDSOME......

Isn't he just about the cutest dog you ever saw???

...tHe UpDaTe....

Seeing as I am now becoming a blogging superstar I figure I should probably give the update on our lives these days.

Tyler graduated with a degree in Business from Utah State this past spring. He is now currently employed at the hospital in Park City (Park City Medical Center) through IHC. He is over their whole Physical Therapy department and does amazing at his job! It is so fun to get to see all he does at the hospital and get a taste of the hospital atmosphere. (I am a die hard Grey's Anatomy watcher so getting to go behind the scenes at the hosptital is beyond exciting for me!) He is currently working towards his masters degree. He studies like crazy, works 40+ hours a week, keeps our household running and takes time to spend with me all with a happy smiling face and I couldn't be more proud of him!

I graduated from Utah State in December with my Degree in Early Childhood Special Education and Rehabilitation. I am now teaching in the Jordan School District in their Early Intervention program. (A program for the Birth to three population with special needs). I work at a School called Kauri Sue Hamilton and I am absolutely loving it! I get to go into the homes of amazing families to work with their precious kids. I also get to teach a Toddler Class for 2 1/2 to 3 year olds! So cute. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing job that I love!

We are living in Salt Lake doing the house hunting gig.  It has been so much fun living close by all of our family. We haven't had the opportunity to live close since we have been married. Being in either Logan or living in Canada we didn't get as much opportunity to spend time with our families as we would have liked. Now we get to see them all the time and are having so much fun with it.
Tyler and I became an Uncle and an Aunt for the first time on the Bailey's side this summer. Our sweet nephew Luke was born in July and we are eating up every opportunity we get to see him! (Even though they moved off to St. George and left us without our nephew..not happy.)

Anyway thats about as exciting as our lives get! Until next time folks...

To blog or not to blog....

I have been having an inner battle as to whether or not I should start yet another blog. Seeing as the first two blogging attempts I made failed miserably my confidence in blogging is at an all time low... So here is the decision making process my brain went through-

-Reasons to blog- (in no particular order)
-Every time I hear the word "blog" or hear someone say, "i read your blog" or "have you read my blog?" yada yada yada I get a nasty pit in my stomach and feel a horrible guilt that I am not technologically savvy enough to create a blog. I am in the prime of the blogging era and don't have a blog..there is something wrong with that..
-Blogs are such a great way to keep track of people,to keep people up to date and to keep a personal log of what is going on in my life..in case i should for some reason ever forget?
-Everyone is doing it....
-Every time i read a blog someone is commenting on how great their husband is and it has made me realize I want to publicly brag about my husband too!! He is so great and definitely deserves some online credit.
-Someday I will grow out of Facebook..someday.. And when that day comes I will need some other online social networking something or other.
-I am out of school and now have more time on my hands to waste on things like blogging
-Blogging is the coolest thing to do

-Reasons Not to blog-
-I am completely lame when it comes to anything to do with blogging. I don't know how to make it look cute, add pictures, add people..nothin! You name it..i don't know how to do it. Therefore making it difficult to enjoy blogging when everyone else's blogs are beautiful and mine is a sad sad sight.
-Everyone is doing it...(yes this is a why to and why to not)
-I don't really have a whole lot of anything to say that would be interesting to read.
-Does anyone read blogs anyway? And if they did who would read mine? Or would i be just talking to a wide open space of nothingness..?
-I have already failed..miserably...twice..like crash and burn style and if my third blog failed my poor cyber self-esteem would be completely and utterly crushed.

So after much pondering and considering I have decided the goods could quite possibly outweigh the bads and I will now officially start our third and final blog. Yes, Final. It will be the final blog either way fail or prevail. There will be no more password forgetting, no more bumming out and starting again. If I Fail i will close the blogging chapter in my life forever. If I prevail well we'll just have to see what happens.

So here it goes The Bailey blog number THREE! Fasten your seat belts folks this could be a bumpy ride!
